Called to Go: Discovering Purpose in God’s Mission

Sometimes the call to mission doesn’t arrive as a loud voice or dramatic moment. Often, it begins as a quiet stirring, a desire to help, to serve, to make faith meaningful in everyday life. In the Bible, God is always reaching out to people. He called Abraham to be a blessing, Isaiah to be a messenger, and the disciples to share hope with the world. This shows that mission starts with God’s love, not human ambition. Believers simply join what God is already doing (John 3:16; Matthew 28:19–20). Being “called to go” doesn’t always mean traveling far. It can mean showing kindness to a neighbor, mentoring a young person, or living with integrity at work. Mission begins where you are. Small acts of love can carry eternal impact.
